24 Hour Service and Maintenance

Our service department employs over 20 technicians of whom many are factory trained in all aspects of power generation, and to compliment and manage this team there is a substantial administration division within the department that manages the after-sales and contractual side of the service business with technical support being provided to our technicians & factory.

As we are not tied to any specific manufacturer of engine, alternator or controller as agents or distributors we are not tied to being trained only on one brand; our service department is familiar with every sort of generator available or that is found in the field, we currently service all brands such as Scania, Volvo, Perkins, MTU, Caterpillar, Mitsubishi and Cummins to name a few, with alternators ranging from Leroy Somer, Newage, Marreli, WEG, Syncro and Marathon. We are also regularly called to service branded generators such as FG Wilson, SDMO and Kohler etc.

The range of equipment serviced encompasses all sorts of power generation related machinery such as Diesel Generators, Gas Driven Generators, Rotary UPS, Static UPS, Motor Generators, Gas Turbines, all types of Control Panels and even Power Factor Correction. The servicing of equipment can either be done on a service contract basis enabling us to visit the site on a regular basis allowing us to build relationships with the client and monitor the equipment more efficiently or we are sometimes called to give a "once off" service and regularly called upon to conduct equipment audits.

We also offer diesel fuel, water and oil analysis as part of our servicing on request that further gives an insight to the condition of the engine, cooling system etc. and we can offer to clean diesel fuel as and when it is required using our own equipment. Being part of a large organisation gives us access to equipment and the resources in our factory such as load banks for load testing generators on-site to prove their output or for testing after repairs are done, we also enjoy the ‘back-up’ of the system behind us with installation crews, mechanical assistance, rigging and design & manufacturing.

Our fleet of service vehicles can be seen nationwide and across our neighbouring borders (Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia & Zimbabwe) at any time of the day or night meeting the demands of our extensive range of customers in all fields of business from large corporates such as ABSA, Standard Bank, Nedbank, FNB, MTN, Sasol & Eskom to shopping centres, factories, universities, sport stadiums and casinos. Our technicians are also to be found up in Africa commissioning generators at mines, airports, refinery plants, cell phone BTS sites, hotels and shopping centres from Angola, Zambia, Tanzania, DRC, Uganda, to Sierra Leone.
